No! It's finished with gold PVD coating. Physical Vapor Deposition, or PVD, is a vacuum coating process that produces a brilliant decorative and functional finish. PVD utilizes a titanium nitride that provides an extremely durable coating. PVD coating is more resistant to corrosion from sweat and regular wear than gold plating.

Gold PVD coating is up to 10 times thicker than standard gold plating.

Gold Filled is a thick layer of solid 14k gold bonded onto high quality brass. It will not fade or tarnish and is more durable than gold plated. It is an affordable way to wear long lasting, high quality gold jewellery

All materials used are lead free. I use gold filled chain, sterling silver chain and stainless steel. My blanks are stainless steel or PVD gold stainless steel. I would recommend stainless steel for those with severe metal allergies. Please leave a note at check out and let me know your preference. I am happy to accomidate.
